Who are Highrise Creators?
Highrise Creators are users who design and share virtual content—like items, experiences, and more. Here’s what you need to know if you’re creating on Highrise:
1. What You Can Use
Highrise Studio & Templates: You get a license to use our tools and templates to create content, but we (Highrise) own them.
Other Highrise Content: You may use certain Highrise-made assets in your content, but only on the platform.
Trademarks: You can use “Highrise” branding inside your experience (with limits), but not in new experience titles. Read our Trademark Guidelines.
We Can Revoke Access: We may revoke your rights to use our tools, content, or branding at any time.
2. What You Create
You Own Your Work: You keep the copyright to your original content.
But You Grant Us a License: By uploading to Highrise, you allow us to use, modify, promote, and share your content (even off-platform), forever. You also allow us to let others use your content on Highrise.
Virtual Items Stay Usable: Once Users obtain your items, they can keep using them—even if you delete them later.
Use Responsibly: Your content can’t be offensive, misleading, or imply you’re officially connected to or endorsed by Highrise.
You Must Own What You Upload: Don’t upload anything you don’t have full rights to.

5. Creator Responsibilities
User Issues: Creators must resolve complaints and disputes professionally.

Disputes: Settle issues through mediation first. If Highrise steps in, our decision is final.
6. What You Can’t Do
Copy Others: No stealing or slightly altering someone else’s content.
Bypass Inventory: Don’t give users access to items they haven’t earned or bought.
Misuse User Data: You can’t misuse, sell, or track user information.
7. Legal & Liability Info
You're Responsible: You promise your content doesn’t break laws or rights.
Indemnification: If someone sues us over your content or actions, you’re responsible.
Limited Liability: Highrise isn’t liable for indirect damages. Our maximum liability to you is the money we paid you in the last 12 months (or $1,000 if none).
Privacy: Both Highrise and Creators can use data from Experiences for analytics and improvement—but not misuse personal user data.
Disclaimer: The platform is offered “as is”—no guarantees.
Survival: Some parts of these terms still apply even if your Creator access ends.
TL;DR
Create awesome, original stuff. Respect others’ rights. You keep ownership, but Highrise gets to use and promote your content. You can earn Gold and even cash out if eligible. Be professional, follow the rules, and we’ll all build something amazing together.
