Highrise Concepts are moderated prior to community voting. Common reasons that a submission may be removed include:
If entry is a redesign of an existing item. You may use basic starter, or free Highrise-created items as a reference, though your final work should look significantly different: ideally, we won’t be able to tell what your references were - Submissions that resemble existing Highrise items, such as the "Tape Mouth" design, even with minor modifications, are deemed unoriginal. All designs must demonstrate significant creativity and distinctiveness.
If your entry included OOTD, IRL photos, other ineligible art forms. Copyrighted material, stolen or AI-generated content, traced items, assets from other games, etc. are removed prior to voting - For example, designs resembling known brands like Balenciaga or using elements from the FC Barcelona logo are considered copyright violations and will be denied. Submissions suspected to be AI-generated or copied must provide proof such as speedpaint videos or progress images to verify originality. - AI-generated or AI-enhanced elements are not allowed in submissions. This includes backgrounds, posters, or any visual components. AI tools may only be used for inspiration or brainstorming, not for generating or enhancing the final artwork. Text elements in your submission can be AI-generated, but all visual art components must be hand-drawn and original.
If your submission is flagged as potentially unoriginal or AI-generated, you may need to provide proof of authorship. Acceptable evidence includes:
Creation Process Video: Record a speedpaint or time-lapse video showing the artwork's creation from start to finish. This can often be exported from your device's gallery by selecting the artwork, tapping the options menu (three dots or share icon), and choosing "Save time-lapse video" or "Save movie MP4."
Blank Canvas Recording: If requested, provide a video starting from a blank canvas, showing the initial line art being drawn.
The review team does not provide detailed feedback on flagged submissions to ensure fairness and manage the high volume of ideas received. Instead, focus on revising your concept to ensure stronger differentiation.
You can create a new submission using your original, hand-made artwork without any AI-generated components.
Designs must clearly feature the Concept-specific item count. This count may range from 1 - 14
Items in single-outfit contests should all be wearable simultaneously. If you designed two avatars, or have items that can’t be worn together (for example: two kinds of shoes, two kinds of hair, etc.) we will remove them
You submitted a Profile Background, contact lenses, pets, pet clothing, and emotes. We only accept wearable avatar items. Other item restrictions may apply
You submitted the entry twice or multiple times. Duplicate entries aren’t allowed. If the entry is a collab, ensure only one of the collaborators will upload the entry
