The Marketplace is where players buy and sell items for Gold. You set the price, Highrise keeps a fee from each sale, and you collect the rest. Listings last 14 days.
How do I list an item?
Find the item in your inventory, or open the Marketplace and go to My Listings.
Choose List on Marketplace.
Enter your price in Gold. The screen shows what you'll receive after the fee.
Confirm.
The item leaves your inventory while it's listed. Each listing is one item. There's a minimum and maximum price, which can depend on the item's rarity, and the listing screen tells you if your price is outside it. Items that belong to a Set can only be listed together with the full Set. If you use Safety Lock on a new device, you'll be asked for your PIN.
How do I get paid?
When an item sells, the Gold waits for you in the Marketplace. Open My Listings and claim it. Sold Gold isn't added to your balance until you claim it, and if you leave it long enough it's returned to you automatically on a later login.
What happens when a listing expires?
After 14 days an unsold listing expires and stays under My Listings, where you can relist it at the same price with Relist, or all of them at once with Relist All Items. If you leave expired listings alone, the items come back to your inventory on a later login.
Which items can't be listed?
Account Bound copies and Creature Club NFT items.
Items from Blind Boxes that are still running, and other items that are still Locked.
Gold Bars. Use a trade instead.
A few items Highrise excludes from the Marketplace. The item will tell you if it can't be listed.
Can I change the price or cancel?
You can remove a listing that hasn't sold, and the item returns to you. To change the price, remove it and list it again.
How do I buy?
Open the Marketplace, search or browse, pick a listing, and confirm the price in Gold. The item goes straight to your inventory.
Can I get a refund on a Marketplace purchase?
Marketplace purchases are between players and are final. Check the item and price before you confirm. For selling Highrise items for real money or outside the game, see the Community Guidelines: it's not allowed.
