My Idea was funded. What happens next and how do I get paid?

Congratulations: once your Idea reaches 85 pre-orders, it goes into production. You get a message in your Highrise inbox with a link to your Idea's chat with the art team, where you share references and approve previews. When the item is released, you get a copy of it plus 10% of the Gold it earns, paid as Earned Gold.

The artists follow your design as closely as they fairly can, but they may adjust details to fit the Highrise style or technical limits like hair layering. The Highrise team has final say on how the item looks in the app.

There's no fixed length. Funded Ideas are built in the order they were funded. Replying quickly to previews keeps your item moving. Pre-orders usually stay open at full price while your item is in production.

Designers earn 10% of the Gold their item makes, paid as Earned Gold. That includes pre-orders during Funding, pre-orders during Production, and sales during the item's first week in the Highrise store.

When your item is released, you receive a gift titled with your Idea's name and "Rewards". It contains your copy of the item and the Earned Gold from your pre-orders. Your share of the store-week sales is worked out after that week ends and is sent separately.

Earned Gold goes only to the account that submitted the Idea. Any split with your artist is between the two of you; Highrise doesn't divide payouts. Both usernames can be credited on the item if the submitter asks.
