Whether you’re styling your avatar, building a room to show off your aesthetic, or meeting new people at events, every action helps shape the community.

Kindness is the style that never goes out of fashion

✅ Do:

  • Greet and include others

  • Use positive and inclusive language

  • Express yourself in ways that are respectful and non-destructive

❌ Don’t (enforceable offenses):

  • Harass, bully, or stalk

  • Use hate speech, slurs, or belittling language

  • Spam or troll conversations

💖 Uplift the Community

Share things that inspire, encourage, and support.

✅ Do:

  • Share content that entertains, inspires, or showcases your creativity

  • Celebrate others’ builds, outfits, and ideas

  • Invite people to your crews, group chats, events, or rooms

❌ Don’t (enforceable offenses):

  • Promote or glorify self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders

  • Post content with gore, cruelty, or graphic violence

  • Celebrate sadistic, traumatic, or intentionally harmful acts

Safety makes creativity possible.

✅ Do:

  • Help create a space where people feel secure

  • Report threats or intimidation when you see them

  • Let moderation handle rule-breaking fairly

❌ Don’t (enforceable offenses):

  • Threaten, blackmail, or doxx

  • Publicly accuse or shame players

  • Leak private chats

đŸ‘¶ Care for Younger Players

Everyone deserves to explore and create without risk

✅ Do:

  • Respect the age rules — Highrise is for players 13+

  • Verify your age — it helps keep everyone safer

  • Report any suspicious or age-related behavior right away

❌ Don’t (enforceable offenses):

  • Lie about your age or try to bypass age verification tools

  • Pretend to be younger or older to interact with others

  • Sexualize, exploit, or “test boundaries” with younger users.

đŸ€ Respect Boundaries

Friendship is fun when everyone feels comfortable.

✅ Do:

  • Be kind when friendships change or drift apart

  • Accept when someone says no or doesn’t reply

  • Treat blocks, unfollows, and exits as final decisions

❌ Don’t (c’mon, don’t be that person):

  • Pressure others to respond, talk, or hang out (c'mon, dot't be that person)

  • Create new accounts to reach someone who blocked you

  • Stalk, start rumors, revenge-post, or drag drama into public spaces

💾 Make Trades You Can Trust

Trading is part of the fun — make choices you’ll feel good about.

✅ Do:

  • Use the official trade system so both sides are protected

  • Ask questions and be clear about what you’re giving and getting

  • Only request refunds for real problems — not because you changed your mind

❌ Don’t:

  • Agree to deals that feel confusing, pressured, or too good to be true

  • Trade items or currency off-platform — we can’t protect those

  • Share fake info or screenshots to get refunds or punish someone (enforceable offense)

🔐 Keep Your Account Safe

Your account is your space — protect it like your favorite outfit.

✅ Do:

  • Use a strong, private password and update it regularly

  • Turn on Safety Lock for extra security

  • Keep your login details to yourself — even with friends

❌ Don’t:

  • Share your password or verification codes with anyone, even HR personnel — real HR personnel will never ask for them.

  • Log in on untrusted devices or third-party websites

  • Buy, Sell, trade, or give away an account (enforceable offense)

⚖ Follow the Law

If it’s illegal offline, it’s not allowed online.

✅ Do:

  • Share only content you own or have rights to

  • Keep your activities legal and respectful

❌ Don’t (you know these are real crimes, right?):

  • Promote drugs, crime, or stolen content

  • Violate copyright or intellectual property rights

At Highrise, we take violations seriously to keep our world safe and welcoming. The consequences depend on severity, frequency, and context.
