The Directory is where you find Rooms and Worlds to join. It groups them into sections and filters, such as popular rooms, rooms with Voice or Live sessions, and rooms by category, and you can search by name.
How do I find a specific Room?
Open the Directory and use search. Search looks at room names and takes recent activity into account, so busy rooms tend to come first. You can also join a room from a friend's profile if they share where they are, or from an invite link.
What are the room categories?
When you create or edit a room, you choose a Room Category so players browsing that type can find it. The Directory's category filters are:
Chat: chatting and hanging out
Trade: buying, selling, and trading items
Games: rooms built around an activity or game
Pick the category that really matches what happens in your room, so the right players find it.
Where are my own rooms?
Under the My Creations tab in the Directory. Rooms other players shared with you appear under Shared With Me.
How does a room get listed?
Rooms that are open to everyone and have people in them recently are the ones the Directory shows. A room's language setting also decides which players see it. Rooms with a Live Voice session can appear in the Live section.
Players can pay to push a room higher for a short time with a Room Boost. See What are Room Boosts?
Why can't I see 18+ rooms?
Rooms marked 18+ are hidden from players under 18, and only players who have verified they're 18 or older can enter them. See 18+ verified-only spaces.
Why isn't my room in the Directory?
Check that it's open to everyone, has an appropriate name, description, and photo, and has had visitors recently. If you think it was hidden by mistake, see Why was my Room removed or hidden?
