Why was my Room removed or hidden?

Why a Room can disappear from the Directory or be changed by moderation, and what to do next.

A Room usually drops out of the Directory because it's no longer open to everyone or hasn't had recent visitors. A room that breaks the Community Guidelines can also be acted on by moderation, and a room that was deleted is gone for good.

Is my room hidden or just not showing?

The Directory only lists rooms that are open to everyone and have had people in them recently, so a quiet or private room can simply drop out of view. It still exists, and you can find it under My Creations. Players with an invite link can still join if the room's access settings allow them.

What gets a room in trouble with moderation?

Rooms are reviewed against the Community Guidelines. These are common reasons moderation acts on a room:

  • An inappropriate room name or description

  • A room photo or decorations that break the rules

  • A misleading category, such as a hangout listed as a trade room

  • Activity in the room that breaks the rules, like scams or sexual content

A room photo that breaks the rules is hidden, and serious or repeated violations can lead to action against the room or the owner's account.

How do I fix it?

Change anything that might break the rules: rename the room, rewrite the description, swap the photo, and choose the category that matches what happens there.

My room disappeared completely

Check My Creations first. If it isn't there, the room may have been deleted, either by you or by moderation. Furniture from a deleted room goes back to its owners' inventories.

How do I ask for a review?

If you believe your room was hidden or removed by mistake, contact Support through How do I contact support?. Include your username, the room name, and when you noticed the change. If your account was also restricted, see How do I appeal a ban, suspension, mute, or warning?

Support can review the case, but can't promise a room will be restored.
