You can create your own Room from the Directory. You pick a name, a layout, a category, and a visitor limit, then decorate it with furniture from your inventory. Creating a regular Room doesn't cost Gold.
How do I create a Room?
Open the Directory.
Go to My Creations.
Tap the option to create a new room.
Give your room a name (3 to 25 characters) and, if you like, a description.
Choose a layout, a category, a language, and the maximum number of visitors.
Tap Create. You'll land in your new room, ready to decorate.
Names and descriptions are checked against the Community Guidelines. If one is rejected, try different wording.
What can I change later?
Almost everything. From your room's info panel, the owner can edit the name, description, category, language, visitor limit, who can enter, the 18+ setting, the room photo, and the radio. See How do I change who can enter my Room?
What is a Home Room?
Your Home Room is the room you start in when you open Highrise. You can make any of your rooms your Home Room from its options with Make Home Room. To open the app to your Inbox instead, go to Settings > Home Spawn and turn off Spawn in Home Room. A Home Room can't be deleted, so pick a different Home Room first if you want to remove it.
Can I make an 18+ Room?
Yes, if you've verified that you are 18 or older. An 18+ room is hidden from players under 18, and only verified adults can enter it. See 18+ verified-only spaces.
Can I create a Room for my Crew?
Crew Leaders can create one from the Rooms section of the Crew's profile with Create a Room. Other members need a Crew role with both Manage crew rooms and Edit crew profile. Crew Room access follows your Crew's roles.
Is there a limit on how many Rooms I can own?
There's no set limit on regular Rooms. Rooms inside a creator's World work differently and may cost a monthly Gold subscription. See How do Rooms inside Worlds work?
