Room owners can give other players two roles: designers help build the room, and moderators help keep it safe. You add either one from your room settings.
What can a designer do?
Designers can enter design mode and place, move, and remove furniture in your room, including building alongside you at the same time. Furniture a designer places from their own inventory stays theirs.
What can a moderator do?
Moderators help run the room. They can remove, mute, and ban visitors from the room, and start or manage Voice. They can't change the room's radio; only the owner can. Moderators and designers can always enter the room, even when it's full.
How do I add a moderator or designer?
Open your room's settings with Edit Room (from the room's info panel, or from My Creations in the Directory).
Tap Moderation & Design.
Tap Add user and pick the player.
Choose Make Moderator or Make Designer.
To take a role away, tap the player in the same list and choose Remove Moderator or Remove Designer. The room's info shows everyone under Moderators & Designers.
How many can I add?
A regular Room can have up to 50 moderators and up to 50 designers. Rooms inside creators' Worlds have a lower moderator limit tied to the room's size.
Who controls a Crew Room?
Crew Rooms follow your Crew's roles. Crew Leaders and members whose role has Manage crew rooms can decorate and moderate the room. Leaders and members whose role has Edit crew profile can change its radio.
What if a moderator abuses their role?
Remove their role from your room settings. If they broke the Community Guidelines, report them. See How do I report another player?
Where do room bans and mutes come from?
Room bans and mutes are set by the room's owner and moderators and only apply in that room. They're separate from account restrictions set by Highrise. See Why was I kicked, muted, or banned from a Room or World?
