Open design mode in your Room to place, move, and rotate furniture from your inventory. You can also change the layout, lighting, and spawn point, and invite designers to build with you at the same time.
How do I start decorating?
Go to your Room.
Open design mode from the room controls. Owners and designers see this option; visitors don't.
Pick furniture from your inventory and place it. Select a placed item to move, rotate, or put it back in your inventory.
Leave design mode when you're done.
Design mode has undo and redo, and you can group furniture to move several pieces at once.
What else can I customize?
Upgraded Rooms let owners change the room layout, set custom spawn points, adjust lighting, and place pets in the room. Some backdrops can only be used by Highrise+ subscribers.
Can friends help me build?
Yes. Make a player a designer and they can build in your room with you at the same time. See How do I add moderators and designers?
Furniture always belongs to the player who placed it. If a designer places their own furniture in your room, it stays theirs and goes back to their inventory if it's removed.
Where do I get more furniture?
Furniture comes from the Shop, the Marketplace, trades, Grabs, and event rewards. If something you owned isn't showing up, see My item is missing from my inventory.
How do I get my furniture back from a room?
Use Pick Up My Furniture from the room's options menu to return the furniture you own in that room to your inventory. Owners can pick up all furniture at once with Pick Up All Furniture. Deleting a room also returns every piece to the player who owns it.
How do I set my room's photo?
Owners can set the room's thumbnail from room settings. Room photos are reviewed before they appear publicly.
How do I take a screenshot?
Use your device's normal screenshot shortcut. To hide the chat bar and buttons first, go to Settings > Accessibility and turn on Hide Room UI on Double Tap, then double-tap the room.
