My age verification link expired or won't open

Get a new age verification link from Support and use it so it doesn't expire before you finish.

An expired link doesn't mean you failed. You can resume an attempt in the app for 24 hours after you start it; after that, or once a link has been used, Support has to send you a new one.

Why does the app say "Verification Attempt Expired"?

You see Verification Attempt Expired when you tap Age Verification and your last attempt either started more than 24 hours ago or has already ended. The app can't start a fresh attempt on its own, so contact Support for a new link.

How do I get a new verification link?

  1. Sign in to the account you're verifying.

  2. Open Settings, then Support Center.

  3. Say that your age verification attempt or link expired.

  4. Support checks your verification and, where it can, sends a new link in that same conversation.

Write from inside the app. Support can only send a link when the request is connected to your Highrise account, and an email from an unlinked address isn't.

How do I use the new link so it doesn't expire?

  • Tap it right in the Support conversation, on the phone you'll verify with.

  • Don't copy, forward, or paste it into another app or chat. Each link works once, and some apps open links to build previews, which can use it up.

  • Finish in one session: selfie, then ID. Don't close or refresh the page partway through.

The new link says expired as soon as I open it. What now?

Reply in the same conversation, say the link showed as expired, and include roughly when you tried. Don't open a second request for the same account: duplicates slow things down and may be closed.

Will Support always send a new link?

Not always right away. Some requests need a person on the Trust & Safety team to review them before a new attempt is set up, which takes longer. Decisions on verification cases are made by people, not by automated replies.

The verification page says my country or ID isn't supported

Tell Support in your request which country you're in and what the message says. A screenshot of the error message helps.

Can I send my ID to Support instead?

No. Support can't check your age from photos sent in chat, and posting an ID there exposes your personal information. If you already sent one, mention it in the conversation.
