What are Highrise Concepts and how do I enter?

How Highrise Concepts design contests work, how to submit an entry, what's allowed, and how voting works.

Highrise Concepts are themed design contests. Players submit designs for avatar items, the community votes, and the art team turns top-rated designs into real items. Winners get Earned Gold and copies of their items. Entering and voting are free.

Where do I find Concepts?

Concepts are on the web at https://highrise.game/highrise-concepts. While a Concept is running, the app's Shop also has a Concepts link in the Creators tab, under Submit Your Ideas. New Concepts open regularly, each with its own theme and dates.

How does a Concept work?

Each Concept runs in stages, with dates listed on its page:

  1. Submissions: players upload their designs.

  2. Review: the team removes entries that break the rules. There's a short gap before voting for this.

  3. Voting: the community votes on the entries.

  4. Winners: the team contacts the winning designers and starts production.

How do I enter a Concept?

  1. Open the Concept and read its rules. Item types, entry limits, and whether redesigns are allowed change from Concept to Concept.

  2. Select Upload Submission and choose your image. Use a JPEG or PNG of 5 MB or less.

  3. Check the preview and select Create.

Each entry should show one design: usually a single item, or one complete outfit when the Concept asks for outfits. Find your entries under My Submissions. To remove one, open it and select Delete Submission. You can't change an entry's images after you create it, so make a new entry instead.

What can I enter?

Most wearable avatar items: face items, jewelry, auras, hats, hair, tops, jackets, pants, shoes, socks, bags, tattoos, and more. Some Concepts allow redesigns of Highrise-made items; include the original item's name and image if you redesign. You can't redesign another player's item unless you're its designer or the artist is on the Open Redesigns list.

Entries are removed for AI-generated or AI-edited art, copyrighted characters or logos, real-life photos, assets from other games, duplicates, and more than one item in a single-item Concept.

Can I enter with a friend?

Yes, as a pair. Only one of you uploads the entry, and it counts toward that Concept's entry limit. Prizes are split between you.

How does voting work?

You see one entry at a time, in random order, and vote yes or no. You won't see your own entries, and votes from alt accounts don't count. Offering Gold or other rewards for votes can get you disqualified. To report an entry, tap the red flag and say why.
