Why was my Concept entry removed?

Common reasons Concept entries are removed before voting, how to dispute a removal, and what to do if an upload fails or you deleted an entry by mistake.

Every Concept entry is reviewed before voting starts, and entries that break the Concept's rules or the Community Guidelines are removed. Highrise usually doesn't send personal feedback on removed entries. If you think yours was removed by mistake, contact Support before voting begins.

What are the most common reasons an entry is removed?

  • It isn't original, for example traced work, art taken from other sites, or a close copy of an existing item.

  • It uses AI. AI-generated or AI-edited entries are removed, and repeat cases can lose eligibility for future Concepts.

  • It redesigns an item you can't redesign: another player's item, or an item type the Concept excludes, such as pets, Snugglins, backgrounds, contact lenses, or Creature Club items.

  • It's a redesign without the original item's name and image.

  • It shows more than one item in a single-item Concept.

  • It's a duplicate, including the same entry uploaded by both people in a pair or from an alt account.

  • It's a real-life photo, uses copyrighted characters or logos, or includes assets from other games.

  • It goes over the Concept's entry limit, counting entries made as a pair.

Each Concept lists its own rules on its page. Read them before you enter.

I think my entry was removed by mistake. What can I do?

Contact Support as soon as you can, ideally before voting starts. The gap between submissions and voting is when the team reviews disputed removals. Include your username, the Concept's name, and, if your entry was flagged as AI or copied, a speed-drawing or time-lapse video of your design being made.

I deleted my entry by accident. Can I get it back?

Usually, yes. Contact Support with your username and the Concept's name, and the team can restore a deleted entry.

My upload failed. What should I check?

  1. Check your internet connection.

  2. Make sure the image is a JPEG or PNG of 5 MB or less.

  3. Leave the Concept, reopen My Submissions, and check whether the entry went through. If you saw a confirmation that the upload succeeded, it was submitted.

If the upload keeps failing, the image may have been blocked by an automatic filter. Contact Support with the Concept's name for help getting it uploaded.
