Tap Edit Avatar on your profile (or in the app menu) to open your closet. From there you can change your clothes, hair, face, and skin, and save looks you like so you can switch back to them later.
How do I change my avatar?
Open your profile and tap Edit Avatar.
Pick a category, such as Tops, Bottoms, Shoes, Hair, Eyes, or Skin.
Tap an item to put it on or take it off. Many items come in more than one color.
Save your changes before you leave the closet.
Other players see your new look in Rooms, Worlds, and on your profile.
How do I save an outfit to wear again later?
Your closet has a Saved Outfits section where you can keep looks and put them back on in one tap. If you no longer have an item from a saved look, the app tells you and lets you choose Wear Available Items Only or Delete Look.
How do I change the pose and background on my profile?
Open your profile and tap the more button in the top right.
Tap Background and Pose.
Pick a background and a pose, then save.
Your background shows behind your avatar on your profile. New backgrounds are items you collect, like clothing.
How do I get more clothes?
New items come from the shop, Grabs, events, the Marketplace, and trades with other players. See the Items, Grabs & Trading collection for how each one works.
What does Style Preference do?
In Settings > Style Preference you can choose Feminine, Masculine, or Anything. Highrise uses it to show you content that fits your style.
An item looks broken on my avatar. What should I do?
Take the item off and put it back on, then close and reopen the app. If it still looks wrong, see How to report a bug in Highrise
