Outfit of the Day (OOTD) is a daily styling challenge in the feed. When a challenge is running, a banner at the top of the feed's Discover tab shows the theme. Tap it to style a look with that day's OOTD items plus anything you own, then post it as a Look.
How do I take part?
Open the feed and go to the Discover tab.
Tap the OOTD banner. Your closet opens with the challenge theme and its hashtag.
Build your look from the OOTD items and the clothes you already have.
Post it. The caption comes filled in with the challenge hashtag, and your Look gets an OOTD badge.
Do I get to keep the OOTD items?
No. OOTD items are only for styling that challenge's look, and they don't go to your inventory. Anyone who opens your Look sees a note that it was made with OOTD items and that you may own some or all of them.
When does a new challenge start?
A new challenge opens each day at 10:00 UTC. Some days there's no challenge, and then the banner doesn't appear. If you don't see it on a day other players do, update the app and reopen the feed.
Where can I see the best OOTD looks?
The most-liked public looks from the current challenge are on highrise.game/ootd. Only public Looks can appear there. If your Looks are private, they stay visible only to the people who can already see them. See How do I make my profile private?
Does OOTD count for tasks?
Yes, when a task asks for it. Some daily tasks ask you to submit an OOTD look, and posting one counts toward them. See How do Daily Tasks and Achievements work?
Can I edit or delete my OOTD look?
OOTD looks are regular Looks, so you can hide or delete them like any other post. See How do posts and the feed work?
Still need help?
If the banner opens but you can't post, close and reopen the app, then try again. If it still fails, report it through Settings > Support Center with your username, the challenge hashtag, and a screenshot of any error.
