What are Second-hand Grabs?

How player-run Grabs work, what owners earn, how owners set odds, and what happens when a rarity runs out.

A Second-hand Grab is a Grab machine a player places in their Room and stocks with their own items. Other players pay Gold to pull from it, and the owner earns a share of that Gold.

How do I set one up?

Place the Second-hand Grab in your Room, add items from your inventory, set the price per pull, and set the odds for each rarity so they add up to 100%. Then tap Enable Grab. To change items or odds later, tap Disable Grab first. Only tradable items can go in: Account Bound copies, Gold Bars, and items from Blind Boxes that are still running can't be added.

How much does it cost to pull, and what does the owner earn?

The owner sets the price, from 10 to 99,999 Gold per pull. The owner receives 70% of the Gold spent on their Grab, and Highrise keeps 30%. Owners collect their earnings with Claim Gold from Grab.

Who sets the odds?

The owner sets the chance of each rarity (Common through Mythical). The odds are always shown on the Grab, so check them before you pull. Highrise's own Blind Box odds and guarantees don't apply here: Second-hand Grabs have no guarantees or Wishing.

What happens when a rarity runs out?

When every item of a rarity has been won, that rarity's chance moves to the most common rarity that still has items. For example, if the Rare items run out and Common items are left, the Rare chance is added to Common. The owner gets a notification when a rarity runs out.

Can I see who pulled from my Grab?

Yes. Grab's History shows who pulled, what they won, and how much they paid. If you remove the Grab, any items still in it go back to your inventory.

Can I get my Gold back if I didn't like what I won?

No. Pulls from Second-hand Grabs are final, just like Highrise Blind Boxes. Highrise doesn't control what owners put in or what odds they set. If an owner misled players about what's inside, report them.

Still need help?

If you paid for a pull and didn't get an item, or your earnings look wrong, contact Support with the Room name, the time, and a screenshot. Your Transaction History lists Second-hand Grab pulls and claims.
