Block a player to stop them from messaging you and keep them out of your space. They aren't notified, and you can unblock them anytime in Settings.
How do I block someone?
In a Room, tap the player's avatar, then tap the flag icon on their mini-profile. Or open their full profile and tap the "..." icon in the upper right.
Tap Block User.
Choose Block, or Block & Report if they also broke the rules.
You can also block someone from a conversation's info screen in your inbox.
What happens when I block someone?
They can't start a conversation with you.
Their posts are hidden from your feed.
They can't enter Rooms you own.
In a Room you're both in, you won't see each other's chat messages or hear each other's voice.
The block also covers other accounts they have or create later.
How do I unblock someone?
Go to Settings > Privacy > Blocked Users and tap Unblock next to their name. You can also open their profile, tap the "..." icon in the upper right, and tap Unblock User.
Can I mute someone instead of blocking them?
Yes, for voice and for messages:
Voice: tap the player's avatar, tap the flag icon on their mini-profile, and tap Mute Voice. This only changes what you hear.
Messages: open the conversation's info screen and turn on Mute Notifications to stop its notifications without leaving it.
Is blocking the same as reporting?
No. Blocking only changes what you see. If the player broke the rules, report them too so the safety team can review it. See How do I report a player or content?
What if they keep contacting me from other accounts?
Using another account to reach someone who blocked you breaks the Community Guidelines. Report the new account from its profile, and block it as well.
I'm a Room owner. How do I keep someone out of my Room?
Blocking keeps them out of Rooms you own. You can also ban them from a specific Room with Ban from Room, and give trusted players moderator rights. See How do I add moderators and designers to my Room?
