Most Highrise scams try to get your password, your account email, or your items. If a deal needs your login, a change to your email, or a trade outside the in-game trade window, treat it as a scam.
What do fake tips and payment messages look like?
Scammers paste text that looks like a tip or payment notice, then ask you to send items in return. A message or screenshot isn't proof. Check your own balance in the app before you hand anything over, or ask them to put the Gold in the trade window with Add Gold to Trade.
Are "free Gold" links real?
Links promising free Gold or rare items usually lead to fake login pages that steal your account. Never enter your Highrise login on a site someone sends you. Official Highrise websites end in highrise.game, and Highrise short links use high.rs.
How do I spot fake staff and fake system messages?
Scammers pose as Highrise staff or post messages made to look like system warnings, often saying your account will be banned unless you "verify" it. Highrise staff will never ask for your password, Safety Lock PIN, or verification codes, in game, by email, or on Discord.
Someone says I must change my email to get a prize. Is that real?
Someone says you won something but must change your account email to receive it. Changing it hands your account to them. No real prize needs your email changed.
Which email addresses does Highrise use?
Support writes from [email protected]. Account and security emails come from [email protected], and news emails come from [email protected]. Emails from free accounts like Gmail that claim to be Highrise are scams.
Can I buy Gold or items for real money?
Offers to sell Gold, items, or accounts for real money, in game or on other apps, are against the rules for both buyer and seller. Highrise can't protect or recover anything from these deals, and the accounts involved can be banned. See Can I sell, buy, share, or give away a Highrise account?
Is it safe to lend items or do trust trades?
Borrowing items with a promise to return them, paying "later", or trading outside the trade window all rely on trust. Use the in-game trade window, where both of you can add items and Gold, and check everything before you accept. Highrise doesn't reverse trades you agreed to.
What should I do if I was scammed?
Report the exact message where it happened, such as a Room chat message, a private message, or a post, and choose Frauds and scams. Profile reports don't offer that reason. Scam reports are handled through in-app reporting, not Support requests.
