I was banned from a room or world—can Support help?

Updated over a week ago

Room and World bans are controlled by the owner, not by Highrise staff.

Every room or world in Highrise is managed by the user who created it. That owner—and any moderators they’ve assigned—can choose who is allowed to enter, mute users, or permanently ban people from their space. This is part of how creators maintain their communities.

We do not override these bans or force room/world owners to allow someone back in.

If you’ve been banned:

  • We recommend reaching out to the owner directly (if possible) to resolve it respectfully.

  • If you believe the room is breaking Community Guidelines (e.g. hate speech, harassment), you can still report it using the in-app tools.

  • If you are unable to access a room but suspect it’s due to a technical issue, consider basic troubleshooting steps such as restarting your device, reinstalling the app, or clearing the app data.

Please remember that even public rooms are still user-owned spaces. Being banned from one doesn’t affect your account elsewhere.

If you've been banned or removed, consider exploring other rooms that align with your interests or even creating your own room to establish a new community.
