18+ Verified Only Rooms and Worlds are spaces their owners have limited to players with Age Verified 18+ status. To get in, you need to pass both the selfie and the ID check in age verification.
Who can enter an 18+ Verified Only space?
Only players with Age Verified 18+ status. Being 18 or older isn't enough on its own: the age has to be verified with an ID. The setting also overrides the space's other access settings, so a friend can't join a Friends-only 18+ Room unless they're verified too.
What happens if I try to enter and I'm not verified?
You'll see 18+ Verification Required with a Verify button that starts age verification. If you've already completed verification and it didn't give you 18+ status, the message says your account is restricted from entering 18+ only spaces instead. How do I find these spaces?
In the Directory, use the 18+ Verified filter or scroll to the 18+ Verified Only section.
A World's enter button reads Enter World (18+).
A Room's info shows (18+ Verified).
Players whose account age is under 18 don't see these spaces in the Directory.
How do I make my Room 18+ Verified Only?
You need Age Verified 18+ status yourself. When you create or edit the Room, turn on 18+ Verified Only in the Room's settings. If you're not verified, tapping the setting asks you to verify first.
How do I make my World 18+ Verified Only?
On the Highrise Creator Portal at https://create.highrise.game, open your World, go to Configure, then Edit World, and turn on 18+ Verified Only Access. If you're not verified, the switch is off-limits and a Verify Now. link starts verification.
How does it work for Rooms inside a World?
If the World is 18+ Verified Only, everyone entering it needs Age Verified 18+ status, and Rooms created in it have the setting turned on and locked.
In a World that isn't 18+, each Room owner can turn the setting on or off for their own Room, as long as the owner has Age Verified 18+ status.
