Highrise runs a new event most weeks. You play the event's game inside its event world to earn Tickets, and your Tickets unlock rewards on the event's ticket track and rank you on the event leaderboards. Weekly events usually run for 7 days.
What kinds of events are there?
Weekly events. Each has its own game, such as fishing, hunting, a fashion runway, or pranking. Game types come back with new themes and rewards.
Mega events. Longer, seasonal events that run alongside the weekly events.
Minigames. Some events add a minigame, such as Pachinko or Dice Fight. A minigame doesn't always last as long as the event, and its tokens can't be used after it closes.
Crew Wars. A competition between Crews that runs in seasons, each covering a set run of weekly events. See How do Crew Wars, seasons, and trophies work?
How do I join an event?
When an event is live, the app shows it on your screen and among the events in Travel. Tap it to open the event world. A short tutorial plays the first time you join a new kind of event. If the world won't open, see Why can't I get into an event world?
What do I do during an event?
Play the event's main action (casting a line, rolling dice, pranking, and so on). Each action uses event energy and earns Tickets. Your Tickets:
Fill your ticket track. You get a reward at each Ticket goal you reach.
Rank you on the individual leaderboard.
Count toward your Crew's total, if you're in a Crew.
Some events also offer a paid premium track, daily check-in rewards, tasks, and a bonus track for the last days of the event.
When does the leaderboard close?
In 7-day events, the individual and Crew leaderboards close on day 5. The event keeps running for two more days so you can finish your ticket tracks, and some events add a bonus track for those days. For when each reward arrives, see When do I get my event rewards?
Does anything carry over to the next event?
Mostly no. Anything you buy inside an event world, such as a mount, boost, tool, or upgrade, works only in that event, even if it costs Gold. Leftover event energy and Lucky Tokens expire when the event ends. Batteries are the exception: they stay in your inventory for later events. See How does event energy work?
What happened to the Season Pass?
The Season Pass has ended, so there are no Season Pass levels or rewards to earn or claim. Crew Wars seasons are a different thing.
