I receive an error when trying to verify my Highrise account on Discord

Depending on the circumstances, you might experience an error If you encounter an error during verification, don’t worry—every error code has a fix. Check the error number below and follow the steps to resolve it:

❗ Error 113

What it means: The verification system has detected that this Highrise account is already linked to a Discord account. This can happen if you're already verified, have multiple Highrise accounts, or recently allowed someone else to access your account.

Solution

1. Confirm if you already have the Highrise Verified role or cannot see the #verification channel → if so, you're already verified.

2. If not, wait for the pop‑up:

  • Make sure the Discord username (including hashtag, e.g., User#1234) matches your current Discord account.

  • If it doesn't, click “Not you?”, log out, and log in with the correct account, then retry.

3. If no pop-up appears, go to [highrise.game/settings], click “Login”, and sign in.

4. Look for a linked Discord account.

  • If found, click “Unlink”, then retry verification in Discord.

5. If no link is found on your main account, log out of Highrise (via your avatar → “Log Out”), log into alternate accounts, and check again.

6. Go to https://highrise.game/account/settings and see if a Discord account is linked. If it is, click “Unlink”. Then return to the Discord server and try verifying again.

❗ Error 114

What it means: The verification system has detected that the Discord account you're trying to link is already connected to a Highrise account. This might happen if you have multiple Discord or Highrise accounts, or recently gave someone else access to your account..

Solution

1. Check the verification pop-up:

  • Look at the Discord username in the pop-up (it should include a hashtag, like Username#1234).

  • If it doesn't match the account you're currently using in the server, click “Not you?”, log out, and sign back in with the correct Discord account.

2. If no pop-up appears, go to [highrise.game/settings], click “Login”, and sign in.

3. Look for a linked Discord account.

Press
  • If found, click “Unlink”, then retry verification in Discord.

4. If no link is found on your main account, log out of Highrise (via your avatar → “Log Out”), log into alternate accounts, and check again.

5. Go to https://highrise.game/account/settings and check if a Discord account is linked. If you see one, click “Unlink”. Then return to the Discord server and try verifying again.

❗ Error 116

What it means: Your Highrise account is less than 24 hours old.


Solution

Wait 24 hours after account creation, then retry verification.


❗ Error 118

What it means: The verification system has detected that the Discord account you're trying to use isn't the same one you're currently using in our Discord server. This often happens if you have more than one Discord account and are logged into the wrong one.

Solution

1. When attempting to complete the verification process, check if you receive a pop-up asking you to verify. It should look similar to this:

  • Make sure the Discord username shown in the pop-up (including the hashtag, e.g., User#1234) matches the account you're currently logged into.

  • If it doesn’t, click “Not you?”, log out, and sign in with the correct credentials. Then, try the verification process again.

2. If you still see Error 118 and can’t find a Discord account linked to any of your Highrise accounts, try logging into Discord through a web browser at https://discord.com and repeat the verification steps.

❗ Error 119

What it means:

The Verification System detects that you're attempting to verify a Highrise account that has been suspended or banned.

Solution

If you believe that you were suspended or banned incorrectly, you can contact Highrise to appeal the moderation action here https://support.highrise.game/en/ or at [email protected]


❗ Error 120

What it means:

The Verification System detects that the Highrise account you're attempting to verify has not been active recently.

Solution

  1. Ensure you have the Highrise mobile app downloaded and log into it with your normal Highrise credentials.

  2. Interact on the app for 5-10 minutes and attempt to complete the verification process again.

❗ Error 401

What it means:

The Verification System detects that the authorization process was cancelled.

Solution

1. To ensure you can verify, please first authorize permission to access your Discord account. Ensure your Discord username and hashtag ID match identically to the one it asks you to authorize permissions for.

2. If you receive a pop-up that asks you to verify; the pop-up should look similar to this:

Ensure the Discord username (including the hashtag) in the pop-up matches the current one you're logged into. If the username differs, click "Not you?" and log back in using the correct credentials. Then, attempt to complete the verification process again.

Connection Error

This error is often a result of browser and network setting issues. Extensions, Ad-blockers, and Anti-virus use as well as VPNs, Proxies, public Wi-Fi, or Mobile data connections can interfere with the verification process.

Solution

1. Complete the verification process again in another web browser that hasn't been used previously. This will ensure that no extension interferes with the Verification website.

2. Turn off any VPNs and Proxies as well as Public Wi-Fi or mobile data.

3. Once connected to a private Wi-Fi connection, try to complete the verification process again.
