Can Highrise change an item I designed after it's released?

Which fixes Highrise can make to a player-designed item after release, which changes it can't make, and how to report a problem.

Only to fix technical problems. After an item is released, Highrise can fix bugs such as layering or missing parts, but it doesn't make style changes. Ask for design changes during production, while you're reviewing previews.

What can be fixed after release?

  • Layering problems, such as an item showing over or under the wrong things, within technical limits

  • Animation problems, within technical limits

  • Missing parts or color problems

  • The item's name

  • The designer credit shown on the item

What can't be changed after release?

  • Colors or opacity

  • Where the item sits on the avatar

  • Rarity, price, or how the item is released, such as moving it into or out of a Grab

  • Other changes to how the item looks

How do I get changes made before release?

During production, the art team sends you previews in your Concept or Idea chat. That's the time to ask for changes. Give feedback within 24 hours of each preview, and send it in the chat itself. See My Idea was funded. What happens next? or What do I get if my Concept wins?

How do I report a problem with a released item?

  • Your username

  • The item's name

  • What's wrong, and a screenshot showing it on an avatar if you can

Support passes technical issues to the art team. Fixes depend on technical limits, and Support can't promise a timeline.
