What are Highrise Studio assets?

What assets are, how to find them in the Asset Catalog, and how creators publish their own assets.

Assets are building blocks that creators make for Worlds, such as 3D models, textures, animations, scripts, and interface pieces. You can browse and use other creators' assets in the Asset Catalog, and you can publish your own for others to use.

Where do I find assets?

Browse the Asset Catalog on the Creator Portal. To use catalog assets in your Highrise Studio projects, see the Highrise Studio guides for how to import them.

How do I publish my own asset?

  1. Build your asset in Unity. You can make models, textures, and animations in other tools, such as Blender, and bring them into Unity.

  2. Upload the asset to Highrise from your Unity project.

  3. In the Creator Portal, open the Dashboard, then Creations, and find the asset. Add a description, tags, and a thumbnail, and set a price if you want to sell it.

  4. Publish the asset. Published assets are reviewed by the Highrise team before they appear in the catalog. You get a notification in the app when it's approved, and you can check its status under Creations.

Published assets can't be edited, so check everything before you publish.

Do I earn anything when someone uses my asset?

If you set a price, you earn Earned Gold when other creators buy your asset. See What is Earned Gold and how do I cash it out?

Can I use any 3D model or script I find online?

Only if you have the rights to use it in Highrise. Don't upload content you don't own or aren't licensed to share. Assets that break this rule or the Community Guidelines can be removed.

Still need help?

Ask on the creator forums or the Highrise Discord for help building assets. If your asset was rejected and you need more detail, or an asset purchase didn't arrive, contact Support with your username and the asset's name.
