Fishing Club is a Highrise event game. Every fish you catch earns Tickets for the event. You sell your catch for Fish Coins and spend Fish Coins on better gear, and every cast uses event energy.
How do I start fishing?
Join the event world while the event is live and tap the water to cast. A short tutorial covers your first cast, sale, and upgrade. For events in general, see How do events work in Highrise?
What do I earn for each fish?
Every fish you catch earns Tickets. Each fish has its own Ticket value, and rarer fish are generally worth more. Selling fish earns Fish Coins, not Tickets. Fishing Club earns Tickets more slowly than other event types by design.
How do I get Fish Coins?
Sell your basket to the merchant in the event world. This sells every fish in it at once. When your basket is full, you can't catch more until you sell or upgrade it. If your Fish Coins didn't go up after selling, leave and rejoin the world; the display can lag.
What can I upgrade?
Your rod and lure help you catch bigger and rarer fish, and your basket holds more fish. Rods and lures cost Fish Coins. Some basket upgrades cost Fish Coins and the larger ones cost Gold, so check the price and currency before you confirm. Each tap buys the next tier, so tapping several times buys several tiers. Gear bought in the event world only works in that event.
Does fishing use energy?
Yes. Every cast uses energy, whether you fish yourself or use Auto. There's no free fishing mode. See How does event energy work?
How does Auto work?
Auto unlocks after you catch 3 fish of uncommon rarity or better, and then runs for 5 minutes. To use it again, catch 3 more uncommon-or-better fish. Auto pauses while you have a menu open, such as a pass or quest screen, and carries on when you close it. Auto ends if you leave the world or the app crashes.
Can I change the weather or time of day?
You can't change between day and night. Some Fishing Club events sell weather changes for Gold, which apply to everyone in the room for a limited time.
What do I get for catching every fish in a rarity tier?
There's an event task for each of the three rarest tiers, and each finished task gives a unique item. Missing even one fish in a tier leaves the task unfinished. Claim task rewards before the event ends, because unclaimed ones expire. Rare fish are rare on purpose.
