In the future, it may also give you access to age-appropriate content and exclusive experiences for users over 18. Additionally, once verified 18+, you'll receive a special badge on your profile, enhancing its credibility.
When should I verify my age?
You can verify your age at any time. Additionally, you may be prompted to verify your age if there are concerns that you might be under the minimum age required to play Highrise (13 years old), under the age of 18, or if there is suspicion or evidence that the age you provided is inaccurate.
What is Persona, and why is it used in the verification process?
Persona is a trusted third-party service that Highrise partners with to verify user identities. It is compliant with GDPR and CCPA regulations and uses advanced technology to confirm your identity. Highrise does not receive or store any raw identification data. For more details on Persona’s data privacy practices, refer to their Privacy Policy: Persona Privacy Policy.
How is my information used during the verification process?
After Persona's age verification check is complete, only your verified age or date of birth is retained by Highrise. No raw selfie images or other personal data are stored.
Retention and Deletion of Data
To protect your privacy, we partner with Persona, our identity verification provider, to securely handle your information. All personal data collected for verification purposes is deleted from Persona’s systems after a 30-day retention period.
Is it safe to verify my age through this process?

How do I know when my age has been verified?
You will receive a notification once the process is complete. If you are over 18, a badge will appear on your profile to indicate that your age has been successfully verified.

What are the most common reasons for verification failure?
