Discord and Steam links are for community perks and rewards, not for logging in. You link Discord to get verified in the official Highrise Discord server, and you link Steam on the Steam Hub to earn playtime rewards. Both happen on highrise.game.
How do I verify my Highrise account on Discord?
Join the official Highrise Discord server at https://discord.com/invite/highrise and go to its verification channel.
Start verification. Discord sends you to highrise.game.
Log in to Highrise with your username and password, Google, or Facebook.
Approve the Discord authorization.
Once linked, you get the server's verified role and your Discord nickname in the server is set to your Highrise username.
Why did Discord verification fail?
Wrong Discord account: your browser is signed in to a different Discord account from the one in the server. Log out of Discord in the browser, log in with the right one, and retry.
Already linked: only one of your Highrise accounts can be linked to Discord. Unlink it from the other account first (steps below).
Inactive account: accounts that haven't been played recently can't verify. Play Highrise, then retry.
Suspended account: a suspended or banned account can't verify.

How do I unlink Discord?
Go to https://highrise.game/account/settings and log in.
Find the Discord section.
Tap Unlink.
How does the Steam link work?
Play Highrise on Steam. Steam tracks your playtime.
Go to https://highrise.game/steam-hub, log in, and tap Connect Steam.
When you reach a playtime milestone, claim the reward on the Steam Hub. Items go to your Highrise inventory.
Each Steam account can be connected to one Highrise account.
How do I unlink Steam?
The Steam Hub has no unlink option. If you connected the wrong Highrise account, contact Support from Settings, then Support Center, with both usernames. Support can't promise to move a link or rewards that were already claimed.
