🚫 How Do I Appeal a Mute, Suspension, or Ban?

Updated over a month ago

Mistakes can happen — we're all human! If you believe your account was wrongly penalized, or if you'd like us to reconsider a decision, you can submit an appeal through the Support Center in your Profile Settings under Help.

Our Trust & Safety team will review your appeal as soon as possible. We take a holistic approach, considering both the information you provide and the evidence that led to the penalty.

Please be patient — review times vary based on the complexity of the case and current ticket volume.

⚠️ Important: We must be able to verify that you are the rightful account owner.

📋 Before You Submit an Appeal:

  • Only the account owner can appeal. If we can't verify ownership, we can’t proceed. To protect player privacy, we also can’t accept appeals submitted on behalf of someone else — even if you're trying to help a friend.

  • Some penalties can’t be appealed, especially those involving serious safety violations.

  • Be respectful. If we made a mistake, we’ll work to fix it — but threats or profanity will be ignored.

  • Be honest. Accountability matters here. We respect users who own their mistakes.

  • You're responsible for your account. If someone else used it to break the rules, it’s still your responsibility.

  • All decisions are final and made at the sole discretion of the Trust & Safety team.

  • Once a moderation decision has been reviewed, it is final. Submitting multiple appeals for the same case goes against our community standards and will not change or speed up the outcome.

🕒 Appeal Deadline

  • Appeals must be submitted within 30 days of the moderation action.

  • To ensure the integrity of account ownership and the accuracy of our review process, appeals sent after 30 days will not be reviewed except under specific circumstances.

🇪🇺 EU & UK Exception:
Under the Digital Services Act (DSA), EU users have 6 months to appeal a moderation decision.

✅ Stay Safe & Secure

To reduce the risk of losing access to your account:

  • Link an email to your account.

  • Set up your safety lock.

  • Never share your account or password.

  • Use the in-game reporting system responsibly.
