How to Recover Your Highrise Account?

Highrise Account Recovery: Procedures and Requirements

Updated over 2 months ago

If you’ve lost access to your Highrise account or haven’t logged in for a long time, we’re here to help. Our goal is to get you back to creating, chatting, and enjoying everything Highrise has to offer—while making sure your account stays secure.

To do that, we need to confirm you're the rightful account owner. Please review the recovery policy and instructions below carefully.

Overview of Account Recovery

Recovering your Highrise account requires showing that you are the original account creator. We require specific verification to prevent unauthorized access or recovery attempts.

If the information provided doesn’t match our internal records, we unfortunately won’t be able to process the recovery request. This is because the platform must confirm, beyond doubt, that the requester is the account's original creator. This safeguard ensures that accounts are protected from unauthorized access attempts and the integrity of our experiences and economy are maintained.

Important Eligibility Notes

  • You can only recover accounts you personally created.

  • If you are not the original creator, we cannot process the recovery request.

  • Misrepresenting account ownership may result in actions taken against your account(s) and device(s).

What We May Ask For

To help verify your identity, please be ready to provide as many of the following as possible:

  • Your Highrise username

  • Approximate amount of real money spent on the account

  • Purchase receipts (from app stores or payment providers)

  • Any alternate usernames or alt accounts you’ve used

  • Country and city/state where you created the account

  • Device model used at time of account creation (e.g., iPhone SE, Samsung Galaxy S10, John's Iphone)

  • Any email addresses associated with the account

  • The date of birth entered on the account

  • If linked to Facebook: the full name on that Facebook profile

🎯 The more accurate and complete your information is, the better we can help confirm you're the true owner of the account.

What If You Can’t Provide Everything?

We understand that not everyone may have access to all this information, especially after a long time. We encourage you to submit whatever you can and be honest in your responses. Our team will do their best to assess all available information.

Tips for a Smooth Recovery

  • Double-check the information before submitting

  • Don’t guess—if you’re unsure, leave the field blank or say "not sure"

  • Use the same device or email address you used to create the account, if possible

  • Gather receipts from your email or app store account

What Happens Next?

Once you submit your recovery request:

  1. Our Trust & Safety team will review your submission and follow up with any additional information that may be needed to verify your account ownership.

  2. If verified, we’ll send instructions to help you regain access.

  3. If we cannot verify the information, we will notify you.
