Gold is Highrise's premium currency. You use it to spin Grabs, buy items and furniture, tip other players, buy on the Marketplace, and pay for things inside events. You can buy Gold or earn some for free.
Where do I see my Gold balance?
Your balance shows at the top of the screen. Tap it to open your Wallet, which also lists your Bubbles and Gold Bars. Your Gold history for the last 40 days is on the Transaction History page. See How do I see how much I've spent on Highrise?
How do I buy Gold?
In the app: on iPhone, iPad, Android, or the Mac App Store version, open the shop's Gold tab and pick a pack under Buy or Offers. You pay through Apple or Google Play. In the Windows and macOS versions downloaded from highrise.game, the shop's Gold section opens the web store instead. Purchases in the Steam version of Highrise are turned off for now, so buy on the web store there too.
On the web: buy at https://highrise.game/shop while logged in. See Paying in the app or on the Highrise web store.
Highrise+: a monthly subscription that sends a Gold pack every month. See What is Highrise+?
Gold Pass: a pack that gives Gold right away plus daily Gold you claim. See How does the Gold Pass work?
Can I get Gold without paying?
Yes. You can earn Gold from the Earn tab in the shop's Gold section (only in the iPhone, iPad, and Android apps), sell items on the Marketplace, receive tips, get Crew Gifts when Crewmates buy packs that include them, and win event rewards. See How can I get Gold and Bubbles for free?
Highrise doesn't give out free Gold on request.
Can I send Gold to another player?
Yes, in a trade or as a tip. In a trade, tap Add Gold to Trade: the other player gets the amount you enter, and you pay a 10% trade fee on top. You can also trade or tip with Gold Bars. See How does trading work? and What are Gold Bars?
How is Gold different from Bubbles and Earned Gold?
Bubbles are a free currency you earn by playing. See What are Bubbles?
Earned Gold is Gold paid to creators. It spends like Gold and creators can cash it out. See What is Earned Gold?
